Boutiques

Want to try on products before you buy? Select Rue Violet items can be found at the Pattern Store at 877 Massachusetts Avenue in Indianapolis, or at Boomerang BTQ, just down the street (845b Massachusetts Avenue). Both stores happily support local designers, independent designers, and each store has a unique vibe.

Boomerang BTQ has an eclectic mix of women’s clothing, accessories, and vintage housewares. Felicia loves color and print, so you’ll find styles that reflect her exuberant personality. Studs, international items, retro jewelry, and Midwest love items can all be found there. She even has her own line of t-shirts.

Pattern Store is the retail side of the Pattern Indy, an organization that supports the growth of the Indianapolis area fashion industry. Connect with other professionals through their Meetups (look for Pattern Indy), which happen monthly on the third Thursday. The Pattern store carries both men and women’s clothing and accessories. It’s a fun mix of separates for every day with a few dressier items. The style of the store is more “street,” a little more urban and a I love the menswear every bit as much as the women’s items. The store setup is pretty cool–raw pine and copper tubing mixes with fabulous fashion photography to create a clean and unique space.  The furniture is made to be fully modular, so they can rearrange the store for upcoming events.
