Shop Small in a Big Way

Since we don’t have our own brick and mortar store, we have some alternate ideas to keep you shopping LOCAL with Rue Violet. Support your Indianapolis based designers by shopping some of our styles at the Pattern Store and Boomerang BTQ on Mass Ave in downtown Indianapolis. They have some crazy fun events happening, including a midnight shopping event TONIGHT (11/21/14)!

And don’t forget Small Business Saturday (11/29/14). You can find both our black and white fall separates and some lovely holiday dresses at both stores. Keep your eyes peeled for our products at the Fashion Mall! (More info to come.)

If you prefer to stay at home and click away, here is a COUPON code which is good from 11/28/14 through 12/2/14 (Black Friday through Cyber Monday). Use code SBS20% for 20% off your cart, excluding items which are already on sale. This means all the new items are 20% off! Click Featured or New items to find out what is recently listed.

More of a procrastinator? If you LOVE the excitement of the hunt, join the fun at the Yelp Bazaar on December 11. It’s a party atmosphere in the lovely Central Library, with an insane number of vendors to shop from. If you can’t find it there, you can’t find it at all!

Etsy Shenanigans

As some of you know, Etsy has been my mainstay for gaining new customers and for sales in general. For a long while, I felt Etsy had my back. These last few changes, however, I feel have hurt Sellers. First they raised the percentage they take as fee. Ok, yeah, I knew that was coming. […]

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month–which I think most of us know, simply because everything turns pink in October. Even the Colts Mascot, Blue, isn’t blue in October. He’s pink. The Canal here in Indianapolis is pink, ribbons are pink, t-shirts are pink. I have a little trouble with this, since it seems like it’s […]
